Student Voter Registration
The California Education Code designates the last two full weeks in April and September to be “High School Voter Education Weeks”. The goal is to promote civic education and foster an environment that cultivates lifelong voters and active citizens. In designated classes, students in the 11th and 12th grades will receive information related to the election process and be provided the opportunity to register to vote (if 18 years old) or pre-register to vote (if 16 or 17 years old).
