Leadership/ASB is a 0 period course taught by Ms. Banh and Dr. Glass, who both serve as ASB Advisors. This course is designed to teach students a variety of skills that extend beyond academics, including but not limited to:
- Time management
- Event planning
Students who are enrolled in the Leadership course also serve as members of Mt. SAC ECA's Associated Student Body. The Associated Student Body is in charge of collaborating with staff, parents, students, and the community to plan and carry out events. The purpose of these events is to promote school spirit, increase student morale, and encourage enthusiasm for school.

How to Join
Students who are interested in enrolling in the Leadership/ASB course will need to complete and submit an ASB application. Applications will be provided to students during the ASB Interest Meeting, to be held during lunch on Tuesday, August 27th in Room 15. For students who are new to Mt. SAC ECA, applications will be accepted beginning September 16 through September 30.
If students are unable to attend the ASB Interest Meeting, they may obtain an application in the following ways:

- Download from this page and print
All applications will be reviewed by the ASB Governing Board and the ASB Advisors and students who are accepted will be notified.
